The new yurt is located between Dancing Moose Yurt and the turn off for the Ruby Jewel & Clark Peak Yurts. During the summer, drive right up to the yurt. During the winter, it's only a .4 mile hike in.
The Medicine Bow Yurt has an impressive view of Clark Peak as well as the entire Medicine Bow Range, with Bull Mountain to explore as your "backyard"! The Jewel Lake trail is also nearby for more trails to explore.
So many of you have asked that we put the availability of our yurts on our website that we couldn't refuse! You can now check your own dates before you call for your reservation. We recommend that you have a couple of choices picked out since what is available may change rapidly - especially for the winter season. From the Availability page pick the month you are interested in checking. The block for each day of that month will have the names of the yurts that are available. We only do reservations by the yurt, we do not make reservations by the bed. See the Reservation and Rates page for information on making a reservation.

Never Summer Nordic® is happy to offer winter guided trips. Our guides will take your group into the yurt or how about a 4 or 6 hour ski / snowshoe tour during your stay at the yurts. We also are offering a gear haul in which we can haul your gear into the yurts for you. And if you feel like getting out of the yurt in a hurry, we have you covered there as well. Have our guide come into the yurt after your group has left and put things away and restock. We do offer day ski and snowshoe trips for the public; you do not have to be staying at the yurts to use this service.

We just received some great photos from a group of guys from Wisconsin who spent their spring break at the Ruby Jewel Yurt. Check out the Ruby Jewel pages at the Yurt Journal. We are always looking for good photos and yurt stories (G ratings only please!). If you have some photos and/or a story to share, let us know either by email or snail mail. Be sure to include a note that we have permission to use your photo.
